
INTRODUCING THE MUD ROCKERS
With tongue-in-cheek, Mud Rock is named in reference to the local sub-culture of 'Mat Rok' in Singapore, as ceramic craft too is often teased as a sub-culture of the Arts.

Co-Founder and Potter at Mud Rock. Seok has more than 14 years of experience in ceramics, and studied under master potters Somluk Pantiboon and Jacqueline Lok.

Co-Founder and ceramic artist, Michelle has more than 14 years of experience in Ceramics with a first class honors and Bachelors in Ceramics graduating from the Australian National University School of Art.

Our instructor, Rachel took her first ceramics class at NAFA 5 years ago, and has continued learning about clay ever since. She enjoys teaching and helping students to overcome hurdles that she has also faced in her own pottery journey.

Vai, Mud Rock's reliable studio technician who is always ready to offer a bright smile even in the midst of production or teaching. She graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts in Fine Arts in 2020 top of her class. As an artist, she explores painting outside of traditional norms, enjoys ceramics, and has also been trained in classical Indian dance.

Sarah has been our chief elf even before joining us full-time. Ever resourceful and helpful. She not only helps with production, teaching, but also designing. Graduated from Lasalle School of the Arts in 2008, Sarah has continued her creative journey through all sorts of mediums.

Susan not only helps us out with our clay preparation in the studio but she also gently advises and encourages us whenever we need it.
